We accept Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay, Google Pay and PayPal at checkout. You can also use any site credit on your account toward an entry.

My card was declined — what now?

Most declines are flagged by your bank, not by us. Try another card or wallet, or contact your bank. If the problem repeats, email support with the time of the attempt and we'll check our logs.

When do I get my ticket numbers?

Ticket numbers are assigned the moment your payment is confirmed and shown on the order success page. They're also in your confirmation email and on your account under My Tickets.

Can I cancel an entry after I've paid?

Once a paid entry is confirmed and your tickets are issued, it can't normally be cancelled — those numbers are now in the draw pool. If you've started checkout but haven't completed payment, the pending order can be cancelled from your cart.

When does a draw close?

Each draw shows its closing date and time on the draw page. Entries are no longer accepted after that moment, including postal entries that arrive late.

Is the free postal entry really equal to a paid entry?

Yes. Postal and paid entries are drawn from the same pool. Each valid postcard receives one ticket equivalent in value to the lowest-priced paid entry then offered for that draw.

What size does the postcard need to be?

A plain, unstamped postcard at least 150mm × 100mm. Postcards smaller than this, or postcards sent in an envelope, won't be accepted.

What information do I write on the postcard?

Your full name, date of birth, full UK postal address, contact phone number, the email registered to your account, the exact name of the draw, the draw's closing date, and the answer to the skill question if one is published.

Can I put more than one entry on a postcard?

No — one entry per postcard. There's no overall cap on how many free entries you can submit, but each entry must be on a separate postcard.

When does my postcard need to arrive?

When the draw closes, the entry pool is sealed and the winning ticket number is generated by our Random Engine. The result, the inputs, and the time it was generated are all published so anyone can re-verify the outcome.
