Section 01
Player protections
Age-gating, spend limits, play breaks, harm monitoring and signposting.
- 1.1 — Strictly 18+
Every account is restricted to adults aged 18 or over. Date of birth is collected at signup and verified at KYC. Marketing is not targeted at anyone under 18.
- 1.2 — Complaints & dispute resolution
A transparent complaints process is published at /complaints, including escalation to an independent ADR provider where a complaint cannot be resolved internally.
- 1.3 — Credit-card limits
Credit-card payments are capped at £250 per calendar month per player, and credit cards cannot be used to enter Instant Win Competitions. Both rules are enforced server-side at checkout.
- 1.4 — Monthly spend limits
Every player has a monthly spend limit covering paid Entries, Wallet top-ups and Instant Win purchases. A sensible default is applied at the first paid checkout, within an operator-set range (minimum can be set as low as £0). Decreases apply immediately; increases are subject to a 24-hour cooling-off period.
- 1.5 — Play breaks & account closure
Players can take a Play Break of 24 hours, 7 days, 1 month, 3 months or 6 months — applied either to all Competitions or to Instant Wins only — or close their account permanently (self-exclusion). During any break, marketing is suspended and further entries are blocked. See Safer Play.
- 1.6 / 1.7 — Harm monitoring & intervention
Account activity is monitored for indicators of potential harm — for example, frequency of reaching the spend limit, repeated increase requests, or unusual payment-method changes. Where indicators are identified we apply a tailored, proportionate intervention, up to and including preventing further play.
- 1.8 — Signposting to support
Independent support services are signposted on the Safer Play page and inside every member account, including BeGambleAware, GamCare, GAMSTOP and the National Gambling Helpline.
- 1.9 — Reasonable Competition windows
Each Competition runs for a reasonable period between opening and close to encourage considered, responsible play.
- 1.10 — Instant Win parity & transparency
Where a Competition includes Instant Win Prizes, paid and free postal Entries are drawn from the same pool with an identical chance of being allocated a winning Entry number. Full mechanics are published at How to enter by post. Instant Win Competitions do not form the majority of our active Competitions at any given time.
- 1.11 — Socially responsible marketing
All advertising is produced in accordance with the CAP and BCAP codes. We never present participation as an escape from personal, professional or educational problems, or as a route to financial security.
Section 02
Transparency
Verifiably random draws, free postal entry, prize delivery and odds.
- 2.1 — Rules & mechanics published per Competition
Each Competition page sets out how the draw is conducted, relevant rules, and confirms that prizes are awarded in accordance with the laws of chance.
- 2.2 — Verifiably random selection
Winners are selected by a computer process that produces verifiably random and auditable results, documented at /random-engine. Where a physical drawing device is used, it is certified. Free postal Entries and paid Entries have an equal chance of winning each available prize.
- 2.3 — Odds & allocation information
Where applicable, the maximum number of Entries available and per-customer caps are displayed on each Competition page so players can assess their likelihood of winning before entering.
- 2.4 — Free postal entry route
Every Competition can be entered for free by ordinary First or Second Class post — clearly signposted on the Competition page and detailed at How to enter by post. Closing dates are set with sufficient time for postal Entries to be received and validly entered. Late-arriving postal Entries within a published grace window receive site credit equal to the lowest-priced ticket value.
- 2.5 — Prize delivery
Advertised prizes are delivered to winners promptly, or — at the winner's choice — a reasonable cash alternative is paid. Prizes are not substituted for lower value due to ticket sales, and Competition close dates are not changed once published.
- 2.6 — Charitable contributions
Where a Competition includes a charitable contribution, the parameters are published on /charity.
Section 03
Accountability
Internal review, third-party compliance and ongoing engagement with DCMS.
- 3.1 — Internal compliance review
Compliance with this Code is monitored on an ongoing basis by the operator team and reviewed periodically. Any inadequacy is actioned promptly.
- 3.2 — Third-party compliance
Affiliate marketers and other third parties supporting our Competitions are required, by contract, to follow the relevant provisions of this Code. Non-compliant relationships are terminated.
- 3.3 — Sector engagement
We engage with other prize-draw operators and with DCMS to share best practice on player protection, transparency and accountability.
- 3.4 — Public disclosure
These measures are published on this page and linked from the site footer and the Safer Play page so that players and regulators can verify our adherence to the Code.
- 3.5 — Ongoing collaboration with DCMS
We support DCMS in keeping the Code fit for purpose and will share learnings and challenges that emerge from our implementation.
